NOC Specialist

Purpose of the position: Mobile, Fix, IT and VAS networks monitoring 24x7x365

Main Tasks:

• 24x7x365 Alarm monitoring and initiate troubleshooting process for all Mobile and Fix networks. Monitoring of some parts of IT network and Value-Added Services.
• Use internal tools to report/record on technical troubles, traffic and no traffic affected events according to the relevant procedure.
• Escalation of network faults and malfunctions to the next level via Phone, Email, and Trouble Ticket within 10 -15 minutes and according to the respective procedure.
• Trouble Ticket Management: TT dispatching, following the issue until the case is closed.
• Collect, analyze and report timely about the network alarms or problems.
• First interface for the different problems, taking care about network and services availability and minimizing the time for fault diagnosis.
• Coordinate and communication for troubleshooting between national/international partners and internal technical teams, regarding interconnection problems.
• Coordination and control of sites access in Fix and Mobile network, opening and closing all the site visits of subcontractor employees or Albtelecom/ONE employees.
• Coordination/ maintain the appropriate communication channels within and outside Technology Division for keeping them informed for network incidents.
• Report to Team Manager for any major trouble in the network.  High Impact Events Interface within/outside company.
• Replace other people in the shift when requested by the Team Manager, provides a shift handover for the oncoming shift and managers.
• Compliance with company’s policies.
• Participating in other activities of the Team.
• Other duties as requested.

Education: Electronic Engineering University Degree.

Experience and Qualifications: Experience in Telecommunications is preferrable.

Skills:

• Availability to works in shifts,
•  Availability to work overtime if/when requested,
• Computer skills in basic programs, knowledge of English language, ability to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships and to express his/her ideas effectively in individual or group level.
